Hello my fellow (soon-to-be or already) 2E6 classmates.
I don't think everyone has got the 2009 book list. So... Mdm Low, what do these people do if they do not have the book list?
Few things I want to say about the book list since I have time now.
1. We're doing Shakespeare for Literature!
"O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love
And I'll no longer be a Capulet."
2. The book list is what? pale orange? why can't they use normal white paper? Ya know for normal human beings like us. Totally bizarre.
3. Some of the books are pretty expensive. Like the textbooks. Math, Geography, Science, and oh my goodness I saw $32.50. And you don't even use some of these books. What the Chinese Textbook so cheap? Man... Surely this is to promote Chinese.
4. What does 'NFY' mean? 'Not Found Yet'. At least I think it is. So weird. We have a new textbook for math and they are not sure of the price. How are we going to buy it then?
5. They have so many rules. ' Cash only', only these places have. 'Purchase of uniform please contact: SHANGHAI School Uniform.' ' Students must show the book list to enjoy special school rates.' No wonder the books are so expensive. They have discounts!
